I guess it happened because of the partition being NTFS formatted. I've followed the instructions for installing Aptana Studio. I tried to give executable permissions to AptanaStudio3. Doing so reinstalls the Visual Studio Installer files and resets the installation metadata. I downloaded Aptana Studio 3 Standalone version and extracted the folder in it. Delete the installer folder (update issues) If you encountered an issue when updating, try deleting the Visual Studio Installer folder, and then rerunning the installation bootstrapper can solve certain update failures. ![]()
